We invite you to come for this Fourth Anniversary Weekend, to honour Choje Akong Tulku Rinpoche’s life, his many and varied activities to benefit beings and the immense legacy he left for future generations.

Drupon Rinpoche will teach a one day course entitled ’Methods of Cultivating Kindness’ on Saturday and on Sunday there will be a Milarepa TSOK puja and Drupon Rinpoche’s Meditation Practice Retreat will begin at 2pm.

For those who have time it is excellent to participate in the Meditation Retreat but for those who do not have the time, Drupon Rinpoche has kindly allowed everyone to join for the first teaching session and the first practice session of the Meditation Retreat so that all Akong Rinpoche’s students can honour his memory by spending this special day engaged in studying and practicing the Buddha’s teachings.

Last year at this anniversary time we suggested that everyone who knew Akong Rinpoche could temporarily change their Profile Pictures on the various Social Media to a photo of Akong Rinpoche.  This is a simple yet beautiful and inspiring way for all of us - wherever we are, East or West, North or South - to join together and show our appreciation for the magnificent human being who helped us all so much.   So this is a gentle reminder to do this again over the 4th Anniversary Weekend (or for longer if you like).  Thank you.

Programme:

Saturday 7th October

Methods of Cultivating Kindness

Morning from 8.00am to 10.00am and from 10.30am to 12.00pm.
