The tutors will be Angie Ball, Kathy White-Webster and Ian Rigg.

This weekend will integrate the essential components for stepping into Mindfulness practice through enhancing our creative potential.  During the weekend we will incorporate both sitting practices as well as taking Mindfulness off the cushion, leaning into the nitty gritty reality of our day-to-day lives.

It is suitable for beginners as well as more experienced Mindfulness practitioners wishing to extend their mindful creative potential. Mindfulness and creativity can be regarded as a stand-alone training or as a way to join the ‘Mindfulness Level 1 – Being Present’ training for weekends 2-4

We will explore what Mindfulness means for us and how our mindful awareness enables an increased connectivity with those around us enriching our day to day experience.  The ground to our practice may be prepared through the use of art materials, breath, movement and the resonance of voice.

Through the creative medium and a heightened spatial awareness, each moment of our daily life and mindful practice can be further enhanced through creating the ritual space in which the depth of our intention and motivation can arise. We set out to follow the golden thread of what calls to us to explore our relationship between our life experience and our inner environment.

Times: The weekend begins at 7pm (evening meal at 6pm) on the Friday evening, between 8am and 8pm on Saturday and between 8am and 3.30pm on a Sunday. It is expected that course participants will stay until the end of the training (3.30pm) on the Sunday.
Cost: £150 per weekend including manual
