This Qigong syllabus has been designed by Bob Lowey B Sc., Founder and Principal Tutor of the 7 Stars School of Taijiquan established 1985, under the auspices of Kagyu Samye Ling. The course contains a list of Qigong subjects, which will be taught in order to meet required criteria to provide the participant with the necessary knowledge and skills to teach the subject matter competently.
Over these six sessions, the training of subjects necessary for Qigong competency will be contained in a programme ensuring that no lessons will be shorter than 45 minutes duration through out the 100 contact hours of the course. Further information will be disseminated on line via the QigongTauk (Qigong Teachers Association UK) web site where you shall also be provided with on line tests.
This syllabus for each session will be provided and will contain the nature of each subject, the number of training hours for each subject and a lesson plan for each subject that will be taught and demonstrated by the Teacher. Certain lessons will contain practical work that may involve learning with another participant on the Course. The Course Teachers will honour anyone that does not wish to work with another participant.
The syllabus is balanced between theoretical and practical instruction with time allocated for revision of study and examination.
Examination of candidates will be at the end of the 3rd session and final examination on the 6th session in which the candidate will demonstrate their competence and proficiency in theoretical and practical Qigong.
