According to Eastern medical traditions the end of winter can leave our bodies feeling heavy, low in energy and in need of rejuvenation and 'waking up'. Yoga is an effective remedy to this sluggishness in our systems. This weekend will focus on ways of working within our yoga practice that can help us to feel more energised, rejuvenated and relaxed in our body and mind. We will aim to help to shake off this sluggishness of winter and so prepare us for the spring with renewed vitality. The techniques we will work with will also give you tools to work with to encourage you to continue this process of waking up the body on a daily basis, as you develop your own yoga practice.
