Since January 2010, Amanda has been training with Wendy Palmer, founder of Leadership Embodiment, and practicing an approach to life and leadership which draws on the principles of martial arts and mindfulness to develop presence, confidence and compassion. For more information about this approach, see http://www.leadershipembodiment.com/
Amanda is an accredited executive coach and coach supervisor and is a T'ai Chi instructor with Five Winds School of T’ai Chi Chuan. After a mis-spent early career as a derivatives and swaps trader in "The City", Amanda trained as a Chartered Accountant and worked in public services. In 1998 she left her job, did an MBA, and began to build a consultancy practice. She now works with individuals and groups in personal development settings with a focus on being more deliberate and thoughtful in conversations, and is the author of an award-winning book, Pause for Breath.
