We recently received the wonderful news that the Very Venerable Yongey Minyur Rinpoche is planning to come to the UK once again in 2018 including a visit to Samye Ling.
We have requested Mingyur Rinpoche to teach from Gampopa’s ‘The Precious Garland of the Supreme Path’. Gampopa himself said that reading this text is no different from meeting him personally. We are fortunate to have the opportunity to receive such teachings from MIngyur Rinpoche.
So far this visit is in the initial planning stages. As soon as we have more details we will let you know.
Mingyur Rinpoche’s teaching will replace the previously advertised mid-week course by Ken Holmes, however Ken will still lead weekend courses on ‘The Six Bardos - Part One’ (April 27 – 29) and ‘The Six Bardos - Part Two’ (May 4 – 7).
There is no fee for this course although donations are welcome. Your offering will help with the Monastery's considerable running costs, as well as the expenses incurred in inviting teachers. Donations may be made in the Reception Office.
