This retreat offers a precious opportunity to spend some time learning and reflecting more deeply on establishing an unshakeable foundation for Dharma practice.  Ani Semchi’s teachings will be based on Gampopa’s “The Precious Garland of The Sublime Path” and the focus will be mainly on the 8-fold noble path.

Participants should be prepared to follow noble silence most of the time, to attend every session and to stay the full length of the retreat.

The daily timetable will include sessions of meditation, teaching and reflection/discussion. There will be plenty opportunity to exchange and ask questions.

To make the most of this precious opportunity and to ensure that there are the very best conditions for retreat, all participants are asked to refrain from using mobile-phones or other devices - unless there is an emergency or you have important commitments which cannot be left aside for a week.  If there is a real need to use your phone, it should be once a day at a specific time only.

There is no fee for this course although donations are welcome. Your offering will help with the Monastery's considerable running costs, as well as the expenses incurred in inviting teachers.  Donations may be made in the Reception Office.
