Stables Cottage is a quirky little self-contained home, with a very private garden, the result of a partial barn conversion.

Stables cottage is family and pet friendly, standing in extensive grounds, which include tree swings, a slide and a table tennis table in the barn.

Stables Living Room

In the winter it is kept cosy by a multi fuel stove in the living room, which provides hot water, central heating, space heating and a lovely glow.

Situated at Watcarrick a couple of miles south of Samye Ling. The cottage has a small single bedroom downstairs, and a light, airy double bedroom upstairs. There is also a sofa bed in the living room so it can accommodate a family of five.

There is a generous kitchen, which has a table that can comfortably seat six, a washing machine, electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer and all the usual things a kitchen has.

There is a garden to the rear of the cottage, which is a very private, suntrap. There is ample parking in the yard. Bikes and motorbikes can be parked in the barn.

The entire cottage costs £70 per night. Over three persons staying there is a surcharge of  £10 per person. The minimum booking period is one night.

Firewood, coal, electricity, towels and bedding are included in the price, and we are happy to light the fire in advance.

Guests staying for a week qualify for a 20 percent reduction.
