Day Tours to Samye Ling

We offer day tours, which entail a tour of the temple and grounds, guided meditation and questions and answers. Normally these tours begin at 11am and end at 3pm, but these times are negotiable. We can hold these tours for a minimum of 10 people and a maximum of 30 people. The charge for school parties is £3 per person and for adult groups it is £6 per person. In order to book a tour we require a deposit of £30, which is the minimum overall charge for a day tour.

Overnight Tours to Samye Ling

We also offer an overnight programme which provides a more in-depth experience of living in a Buddhist monastery and we give presentations of Buddhist topics relevant to the school syllabus, meditation instructions and guided meditation. We can hold these tours for a minimum of 10 people and a maximum of 30 people. The charge for school parties is £6 each - in addition to the normal accommodation tariff, which is £23 for shared accommodation and £36 for single rooms. This price includes three meals.
