Samye Ling Garden Project
The old Greenhouse (16 x 8 yards) is the nursery at the heart of the Garden Project. It provides space and
protection for the cultivation of plants throughout the year. Purchased second-hand 40 years ago, it houses a wide selection of cuttings, seedlings and potted plants. It is home to one of the finest vines in Southern Scotland that trails over the arches and produces some 500 bunches of black dessert grapes each year. There are also a fig tree, nectarine and our apricot. Underneath are beds of tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, basil and parsley.
