Tariff and Charges

Meals for Day Visitors

The Tibetan Tea Rooms is open daily from 9am to 5pm and serves a selection of snacks including soup, paninis, toasties and a wide range of teas and coffees.

Tarrif for 2011
  • Dormitory £24.00 per person per night
  • Twin-bedded room £57.00 (2 people sharing ) per night
  • Single Room £37.00 per person per night
  • Camping (own tent) £15.00 per person per night
  • Purelands Retreats are £370.00 inclusive of meals, single accommodation and all tuition.

To make a booking please complete the electronic booking form (click on the button at the top left on this page) and we will email you with confirmation. Please note that it is free to book online; no charge will be made to your card provided 48 hours notice is given if you intend to cancel your booking. Full payment is due on arrival.

Course Fees for 2011

The fee for weekend workshops is as follows:-
  • Fri - Sun inclusive £63.00; concession £53.00
  • Fri - Mon inclusive £73.00; concession £63.00
Purelands Retreats are £370.00 inclusive of meals, single accommodation and all tuition.

Weekend workshops are residential and accommodation is charged at the rates shown above.

Longer Dharma courses are on a donation basis. However, we hope you will give generously to help cover the expenses of High Lamas who travel great distances to give precious teachings at Kagyu Samye Ling.

Weekend workshops start on Friday evening at 7pm - unless stated otherwise. Please register at the Reception Office in Johnstone House before beginning.

Courses take place in the back or middle sections of the Temple, the back section of the Dining Room or the Chenrezig Shrine Room. Prayers, Dharma Teachings and Initiations are held in the main part of the Temple.

Weekend course times are as follows:

  • Friday Evening: 7pm
  • Saturday and Sundays: 10am - 12.30pm and 3pm - 5.30pm.
Break times and variations in the timetable will be advised by the course leader.
