Rokpa Trust Safeguarding

Rokpa Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare, safety, and well-being of all children, young people, and vulnerable adults who engage with the charity. We believe that everyone, regardless of age, gender, disability, race, religion, or sexual orientation, has the right to protection from harm, abuse, and neglect.

We take our safeguarding responsibilities seriously and follow UK legislation, statutory guidance, and best practice to ensure the safety of those we serve.  We strive to provide a safe and welcoming environment in which people feel valued and listened to, and where their rights are respected.

Our safeguarding policies are regularly reviewed and updated to reflect current law and best practice. We have clear processes in place for reporting safeguarding concerns. Any concerns raised are taken seriously, and we will act swiftly and appropriately, including liaising with statutory agencies such as social services or the police if necessary.
