This year on 8th October it is the 13th anniversary since Akong Tulku Rinpoche passed away. 

In the morning there will be a talk, prayers and offerings to Akong Rinpoche in the temple.

Everyone present is most welcome to stay for lunch ** in Samye Ling Dining Hall (at 12.30pm).

At 2.30 pm the week-long Akong Rinpoche Memorial Retreat will begin.  The first teaching session is open to anyone, even if not registered for the retreat.  All practice sessions are also open to anyone.

After the first teaching session, only those registered may attend teachings.
