Teaching by Khenpo Jamyang Lodro

18 July 2025 - 14 September 2025

Cost: £0.00

Venue: Samye Ling

This year we have the privilege of hosting Khenpo Jamyang Lodro from Palpung Sherab Ling Monastery in India.

Khenpo Jamyang is due to arrive in Samye Ling in time to begin teaching on 18th July 2025.

Teachings will begin at 8am on Friday 18th July and all are welcome to attend.  Please contact bookings@samyeling.org to register and to reserve accommodation and/or meals.

Since so many of us practice Green Tara prayers regularly, Khenpo-la will give teaching on the ‘Sang Tik Dolma’ Tara practice.  This is a perfect opportunity to receive detailed instructions from a highly qualified teacher.  Anyone connected to Samye Dzongs who is either practicing Green Tara or who intends to practice in future, is particularly encouraged to attend.

Following these Tara teachings, Khenpo Jamyang will begin teaching on Lord Gampopa’s renowned text ‘Ornament of the Precious Liberation’.  Great dharma students of the past and present have made a point of studying this precious text again and again throughout their lives, sometimes receiving teachings up to 15 times from different teachers.  So even if you are already familiar with the text, it is worth receiving these precious teachings again.

Please note: Teachings by Khenpo Drodul will run concurrently - please check in Samye Ling for exact teaching times.

There is no charge for these dharma teachings though Samye Ling will of course make an offering to the teacher on behalf of us all.  If you wish to make a donation please ask at Reception.
