Although for many years we have requested Khenpo Tashi to come to teach in Samye Ling, until now he has had so many other responsibilities he has not been able to spare the time to travel to the UK.  Finally this year it is possible and we are fortunate to have an opportunity to receive teachings from him. 

Khenpo Tashi is well trained in both the philosophy and the practice of Buddhism, and will be leading a one week retreat during which he will also be giving teachings on The Way of the Bodhisattva.

Participants joining this one week retreat must register and commit to attending all teaching and practice sessions (including pujas) during the retreat.   The retreat will begin at 6am on the 11th and end before lunch on the 17th July.

2.00pm - 3.00pm         Mahakala Puja

4.00pm - 5.30pm         Session 3

There is no fee for this retreat.  If you wish to make a donation towards the Monastery's costs you can do so in the Reception Office in Samye Ling.
