Final update on programme for Choje Akong Tulku Rinpoche’s Anniversary

Monday 8th October

Please meet in the Temple at 9.30am. 

We will recite Akong Rinpoche’s Swift Return Prayer (the four line prayer composed by H H Gyalwang Karmapa) and anyone who wishes may offer a kata (or flowers or whatever you wish) to Akong Rinpoche’s throne. 

Then we will go to the Tara Garden where the Sangha will recite the ‘Riwo Sangcho’ prayers.  Anyone familiar with this practice who has the text should bring it with them.

At 11.30am Lama Rinpoche will give a talk (probably in the temple but this will be confirmed at the time) followed by offering lights in the Butterlamp House and lunch in the dining hall.

The Meditation Retreat begins at 2pm and everyone is welcome to join in the first two sessions.

Everyone is cordially invited and most welcome to join us for the Anniversary Lunch. 
However, to make sure we prepare enough for everyone please email reception@samyeling.org to let us know you are coming.  

On this special day there will be no charge for lunch, though donations are welcome.
