  • As a condition of your booking, we require you to take a COVID test on the day that you are travelling to Samye Ling. Please also bring a testing kit with you and test regularly during your stay.

  • While staying with us, we ask you to please keep a safe distance from our day visitors.

  • Only use the toilet facilities in the accommodation areas, do not use the public toilets opposite the Tea Rooms as they are for use by day visitors.

  • As a precaution, we suggest that you wear a mask whenever possible in the shared indoor spaces.

  • The maximum length of stay is one week.

Although the Government’s COVID regulations have now been relaxed, people come to Samye Ling from all over the world and we do not want to create the conditions for them to transmit this disease to each other.

As Buddhists, protecting people’s lives is extremely important to us, and as a minimum we are committed to not causing harm.  This is why we have worked hard over the past two years to keep people safe; and why, for the time being, we are asking you to please take care (of yourself and others) by following these measures during your stay at Samye Ling.

To cancel or change an existing booking in any way please send an email to requesting the amendment, please do not make further bookings to try to make the change yourself. To save confusion any bookings made to make amendments to existing bookings will be cancelled.
