This weekend offers an excellent opportunity to start 2019 by doing something really meaningful & with the potential to benefit every aspect of our lives - that is to learn basic Buddhist meditation techniques.

The course is suitable for all, although particularly ideal for those who are entirely new to meditation and Buddhism.

There has been a huge growth of meditation and mindfulness techniques in recent years, yet nothing remains more profound and useful than the simple instructions handed down since the time of the Buddha.

This weekend, Ani Lhamo will take us through the fundamentals - from sitting posture to applying meditation in daily life - helping us to gently build up a practice that is effective, enjoyable and pain-free.

There is no charge for this course although donations are welcome and can be made in the Reception Office in Samye Ling.
