Selfcatering accommodation


Stables Cottage is selfcatering cottage situated at Watcarrick in the valley of Eskdalemuir. The cottage has two bedrooms, one upstairs, with a double bed and one downstairs, with a single bed. There is also a sofa bed in the living room so it can accommodate five people.

There is a bathroom with a shower and a bath, and a generous kitchen, which has a washing machine, electric cooker, fridge, freezer and all the usual things a kitchen has.

The living room has a multi fuel stove, which provides central heating, hot water and space heating.

There is a garden to the rear of the cottage which is very private, and in the right conditions a sun trap.

There is ample parking in the yard.

Stables cottage is two and a half miles from the Samye Ling Tibetan Centre.

Visitors can book the whole cottage for £70 per night.

Guests willing to share the cottage can book either of the bedrooms at the rate of  £30 per night for the single room, and £40 per night for the double room.

The minimum booking period is two nights.

Firewood, coal and electricity is included in the price, and we are happy to light the fire in advance so that the house is cosy when you arrive.

Guests staying for a complete week qualify for a 20 percent reduction.
