Stables Cottage, Eskdalemuir

Comfortable dog and child friendly self-catering accommodation for up to six people, with two double bedrooms and a sofa bed only a couple of miles from Samye Ling.

The space

Entire cottage and garden. Bikes can be kept under cover in the store beside the cottage, and parking is easy in the courtyard.

The kitchen is well equipped and can seat six, the living room has Wifi, a smart TV plus satellite and two sofas in front of the multi-fuel stove that makes it extra cosy in the evening.

There is an enclosed private garden behind the cottage, with swings and a burn that runs through the woods on the other side of the courtyard.

Deer, red squirrels, owls, badgers and even otters live nearby, while the surrounding countryside is spectacular for walking and cycling.

The bathroom has a bath with an electric shower over.

Other things to note

There are fitted stairgates top and bottom of the stairs but they are quite steep!

We live in a house on the other side of the courtyard.

We respect your privacy completely and you will rarely see us but if you do need anything just phone and we will help if we possibly can.

The cottage is completely separate and the cottage garden is very private and not overlooked.
